Saw the AT today about the fact that the area where my lower leg pain is is kinda white... she’s concerned that there isn’t enough blood flow there at the moment, that’s why it’s hurting so much. The tendons and other things there have kind of ‘matted down’ again.
She did some magic stuff to force some blood into the area (that was painful, and gross) and then some acupuncture but not the same kind as what I’ve had before. This was more traditional acu at some key points, without stimulation. Feels a little better right now but not excellent, so I’ll probably stay off of it tomorrow and get back to training on Friday.
