Off-road running 31:29 [3] 2.9 mi (10:51 / mi)
This week has been really shit, so no time for running, too stressed for sleeping and feeling all round :-(
This morning we were both supposed to be 7-hills racing, but as childcare became ludicrously complex my brain blew up and I just slipped into pathetic defeat and became taxi driver for the morning instead. This takes the piss. It has happened pretty much every day for the last 2 weeks now though. Miserable, slovenly, frustrated, so so tired and so so stressed, so unsurprisingly depressed mummy rules. I managed to get out after I had dropped Lucy at Hillend at a party and Laurence at the meadows at football. A very slim window of freedom before picking them up both up again and I took it, heading up Arthur's seat to see ray come through, then down to Holyrood and back via Dumbiedykes. Cheered me up quite a bit (from a very low starting point) despite stumbling over a kerb at the very end cutting my hands and knees and grazing my shin. At least I very much managed to impress my kid's friends with the volume of blood.
