Running race 11:05 [3] 3.0 km (3:42 / km)

Slower than earlier in the year. Need to work on speed work and running technique apparently.

Orienteering race (Mixed Relay) 30:00 [3]

Mixed Sprint Relay @ Commonwealth park. Me and Lizzie both ran 5 little courses and then ran a separate course with everyone else. In the 5 races I would always start about 30 seconds in front of simon and the aim was to hold it. On the 6th I managed to close in on the leaders/ maintain my position due a better route to the first one, crossing illegal olive green, and making 2 good route choices.

LAZY Torso with 50m turnarounds instead of hundreds. Unfortunately I was slower than last time.

Orienteering race (Mass Start) 14:55 [3] 3.0 km (4:58 / km)

Sprint Canberra Day 2 @ Radford College. I was way to slow going into the 1st which meant I was in 35th position to the first control. After overtaking a few of the stragglers, I had to slow down and navigate. Other than the first control my run was pretty perfect.

Mass Start around Black Mountain peninsula. I was sufficiently smashed because I don't train enough/ had to hang up the control flag for the next group.

Running 22:22 [3] 3.5 km (6:23 / km)

Sprint Canberra 1 @ AIS. Started off way to sore from this afternoons exercise. Wasn't very clean through 2,5 and just slow through the bush. Once Patrick Jaffe caught me I remembered how to orienteer and even kept up with Oliver Poland for a bit.

Running long 1:30:00 [3] 18.4 km (4:53 / km) +300m 4:31 / km

Long Run from home over Bundle Hill, then along the back of Kaleen, through Lyneham and Bruce Ridge then I turned around and came home. Need more hills in my area.
