Still not 100% back pain, cramps etc. Decided to go out for my run anyway, as I'd been planning a slowish run to Richmond Park anyway. Strapped ankle up good and proper, and I haven't had any problems with it since I started doing that. Of course it's hard to know whether the sudden improvement isn't related to the ibuprofen I've been taking for the tummy cramps...

I was right yesterday... Felt terrible this morning. Dosed myself up on strong painkillers, which in addition to my reason are also prescribed to people with chronic arthritis, and ibuprofen. Decided that it was no reason not to go for my planned run though, even if it meant just meandering around. Surprise is I actually felt alright :) Had the playlist on which Nick had made for Scotland, and the beat just made me go. Amusing really, as I only ever wear headphones when I am expecting to hate the run.

All I can say is the 4 hours disturbed sleep, and the early morning shift, did nothing for my running today. If it weren't for the fact I had to get home, and I'd not brought any other means of getting home than my trainers, I'd prob have given up. Felt heavy, pained and exhausted, and it wasn't a matter of just slowing down to feel better, i just felt awful! I think certain female 'time' approaching contributed heavily to this. Still glad I ran home though.

Stretches/Core exercises 20:00 [3]

Ensured I actually spent some time concentrating on my ankles. I don't really have the concentration span to manage more than 20mins though! Really want to go out for a run, but have to get ready for work :( Hate late shifts. Early tomorrow. Plan to run home from work. Always interesting trying to find somewhere to change, and sneak of the ward without the clients seeing me in my running clothes...
