Running warm up/down 14:25 [1] 1.42 km (10:10 / km) +76m 8:01 / km
shoes: NB wt00

O-training 1:25:20 intensity: (1:00:00 @2) + (25:20 @3) 7.74 km (11:01 / km) +279m 9:20 / km
shoes: NB wt00

It was warm and sunny out today. Body not used to the heat yet, but thankfully, I was not racing. Did the Red course at a relaxed pace and was extra careful going down steep rocky slopes. No major mistakes, some hesitation in control circle on two controls along with Galina, who I saw frequently second half of the course. Yes, the foot was still a pain but it was nice to be out orienteering at a slower pace and doing it well.

O-training 1:07:52 intensity: (30:00 @1) + (37:52 @2) 5.92 km (11:28 / km) +148m 10:12 / km
(injured) shoes: NB wt00

Decided to go out on a rec orange course today instead of the red and instead of not doing anything. When jogging on pavement there was actually more pain than expected and so I walked to the start without much optimism. I tried just walking once out on the course but that was way too slow and the blueberry bushes were too much of an obstacle. I switched to slow running and that sort of worked but I still did not have sufficient momentum to tackle the bushes. I was cautious with foot placement, and the foot was indeed a distraction. But, the pain lessened as the course went on, and running on soft ground felt better than on trail or road, less impact.
Into the evening foot is feeling quite alright or maybe it's just in a state of shock that I would torture it that much or that I would go out on an orange course.

Running 15:00 [1] 2.07 km (7:15 / km)
(injured) shoes: Nike Lunaracer 3

Another test run around neighborhood. Foot is feeling better but definitely other parts in the foot and ankle are compensating, esp. the inner arch muscle; the left leg is also compensating even though I tried to run in a relaxed, normal fashion. Plan is to not run tomorrow at WP but maybe go out on a course on Sunday.

500 free with decent effort
5 x 50 free hard

Aquajogging 15:00 [3] 1.11 km (13:28 / km)

same as Tuesday, 20 x 30 sec with 15 sec rest. kind of curious of the gps distance estimate.

Yoga 1:00:00 [1]

Outdoors yoga! So nice out. Mostly core work today.

Swimming 30:00 [2]

5 x 100 free hard in middle

Aquajogging 30:00 intensity: (15:00 @2) + (15:00 @3)

I'm getting the hang of this thing. Did the 20 x 30 sec hard with 15 sec rest workout, which is easier in the pool but much much slower.
