Field checking and control location scouting part 2 at Mtn Lakes. Covered the rest of the map and the terrain there is just amazing to run through, truly a pleasure. There are some rough patches but the good def. outweighs the bad at this park. While out there I encountered a deer, a hawk flying into the forest canopy, various woodpeckers including a beautiful red-bellied one, a couple wild turkeys, and tons and tons of spider webs.

Verona park morning run. Did a few strides on flat grassy ground and uphill, pushing with my core instead of my feet. Arches Ok while running but will see as the day progresses. I'm thinking I put too much strain on them while doing yoga so may switch to pilates or something.

Checking control locations and field checking at Mtn Lakes. Terrain is very sweet, diverse and intricate but runnable. Beautiful out today, took a dip in the lake afterwards.
