Ski-O Long distance at Craftsbury center and for me it was way too long, maybe not in overall length but in time spent out on the course. Super tired after first loop but thankfully the second one was short so gave me enough incentive to just tough it out and finish. I'm def. not fit enough for such "races".
Some route choices were questionable but mostly trying to stay on groomed trails as much as possible and not taking paths through the woods for the fear of scratching my skis or running into a tree or two. Today's conditions were much better than yest's, it was snowing (lightly) the whole time but the powder was nice to ski on and gave some cushion for my falls.
Middle distance ski-O. Trail conditions were poor, not much snow in places, lots of branches, very bumpy. Had to take off my skis a number of times; really slow on downhills. Still managed to put a few scratches, maybe should have taken my old skis.
Oing was ok, I was trying to read ahead but as well as i would have liked.

Ali's ski clinic, gave me some good technique tips to practice, esp. leaning forward, makes such a big difference. I also learned V2!
This was tough! Gorgeous weather: snowed all night and day; I just had to go for a run, couldn't miss this opportunity, esp. since I've wanted to do a snow run for a while now. Eagle Rock is on lock-down so I went up to the woods behind our house, nice 0.5 by 1 km area, and just did a few runs back and forth widthwise. Discovered some trails and ran them as well. The woods were absolutely stunning!
