Rode from Yangshuo to Xingping and back. We had been hoping to bump along single tracks between karst pillars but somehow managed to ride on the road for 30km towards Xingping and miss all of the karst. Still, it was a nice quiet rolling ride past kumquat and pomelo orchards and the scenery was amazing when we finally got to Xingping. At Xingping we threw our bikes onto a ferry to cross the river then rode back to Fuli where Matt got a puncture and had to run the last 5km or so in the dark back to Yangshuo. Finished off the day tired and happy with hotpot, coffee and the best apple crumble in China.
