After jogging RR with Topais at Vierumäki (Lahti-Suunnistus) I ran 1000m reasonably hard (for my current shape) on track with O shoes an O gear on.

If you ever wondered what happenned to the Death Star of Star Wars, well, there it is half buried next to the track. Or at least that's what Topias told me.

Somewhat wide systematic doping in Norway? I'd say most likely there may be. One clear cheater got caught, but it was covered up for almost two long years (too many Norvegians in key positions to make it possible hide it this long) and now when it got revealed lots of others seem to support him.

Salbutamol is anabolic steroid and is used as tablets for that reason. Because it is used also as very small doses with inhaler for asthma, those using it as pills for muscles/strength will not be caucht if they are lucky enough to have only small amount of it in their samples. And by unluck amounts are large, one can claim they did not know it was not allowed to take too much. Remember, one of the Finnish skiers who got caught in Lahti got warning for just that two years before That Lahti incident. Anyone who uses these inhalers know it is not that easy to get all much with inhalers and also know side effects (throat becomes like sand paper) long long before you take it too much. he may well have been takin g pills and all those hospital style inhaler is just cover up excuse to explain those overly large amounts without admitting taking pills. So why norvegians atheltes are supporting mr cheater, they must know how things are really? The only explanation is they are playing part of it. I am thinking how long that biker managed to do his thing witout getting caught.

i may well guess wrong, but just saying. Stated overly high training volume figures may well be part of the cover up, used as explanation for being so strong.

win10 "updated" and completely messed up itself. No reasonable way way to revive it, so I had to re-instal from usb-stick after saving some files from ubuntu (dual boot). win 10 is up and runnig again. Next step is resurrecting ubuntu, win10 installer made it dissappear.
