Ran the Brown course at the NAOC...... good day......just a slow start to #1 and a few little goofs on 10 & 11 .... cost a few min... but a great day with no big goofs.... felt in control and know where I was the whole run.....have not had such a good feeling in the woods in a long time....ended up in 9th in A.G. ....best finish ever....Thanks God for that blind woodchuck I followed.....

Ran the Base loop....easy run to test the Rt. knee....tight at the start but felt better as the run went on.....not as puffy as I thought it would be ....should be ok in a few days....

Ran the red course at Pound Ridge....nice day in the woods.....had 9 good controls and one real real bad......had a good run going through the first 6 bags... feeling very good about myself.....then the a funny thing happened on the way to #7....first part of route good went cross country and hit the first trail..GOOD.....should have turned rt. and followed the trail to jct. but no I had to push ahead C.C. and got tired and forgot we were on 1-15k map...... pulled up short ...could not make the map match up.....panic set in .... back tracked and got on the wrong trail.... back track again....good to go this time was sure I was good to go..... got to were the bag should be .... saw no bag....( I could have spit on it I was so close to it ... just a blind bat !!!)....back track again went way back and attacked from the next trail on the map in order to come a the bag from another side....and didn't see the bag but I was at the same spot as the last time I was on this hill.... then looked to my left and once again I could spit on the bag ... but this time I saw it........Grrr... Grrrr.... one big goof and it killed a good day....cost me 63 min.....should have been a 10 min. leg at the top end....on to 8 through some wet tall grass.... and fell into a unseen hole an rehurt my rt. knee again ( it was just starting to feel good) and jammed my rt. shoulder.... had to walk slowly on about five min.... and was able to jog the rest of the course....will have to see how puffed up the knee is Sun......So felt real good about 90% of the run ....hit every bag dead on ... so I will just have to slow down at the later stages of the run as I get tired and stop doing dumb things....
