Orienteering (Brown Course) 1:06:01 [3] 2.56 mi (25:47 / mi)

Went over to Hemlock Hills to run the Brown Course.....no issue to #1 ....ck compass and off I go to # 2 .....map and ground are not the same ...yuk ...not again like last week when I went off South not North....so I figure out what I had done and get to # 2 .... off I go to # 3 ...get close and use the compass to head to the control....no go ..now I lost my mind ...what the hell is going on ....re-lo and find control ....start to head off to # 4 ..compass says go down hill to the right ...I look at the map and know that is not right ....standing there ready to jump of the cliff.....when I look at the wrist of my glove....and there is a small magnet there ...OMG.... !!!!....pull off the gloves and no more issues ....so for two weeks in a row I lost a ton of time....plus my mind ...go figure ....but the woods were great and course fun ...will go back and try again WITH NO GLOVES !!! Thanks Rick and Sue....
