Rabbit Warren, Stand Wood, Dobb Edge East Moor, Harland Edge long-ish loop through Chatsworth, partly to get a look at the work yet to be done, felt sick after six or seven km, shortly before beginning the climb

Harland Edge and Gibbet Moor an 'easy' terrain run to check runnability in the last corner of the moor, slow to get going, not particularly strong thereafter
9th overall, which represents progress - I was 25th five years ago!
A combination of better fitness, both speed and stamina, and rivals succumbing to injury or otherwise dropping out of the sport.
Pleased, but not overjoyed.
This was the worst JK I have ever attended in terms of the quality of orienteering. Last year was okay, nice weather. And next year, it's back to Cold Ash. Hmph.

JK Relay, Senior Men Leg 3 Chris didn't stay with the pack on the first leg and Andrew wasn't going to make up the gap so ended up running on my own, turns out I was gaining on Ricky Baxter but never saw him so just plodded on thru the mud, off-line to #5 and missed #11 attacking 10-20m too late
