Was at the start like half a hour early so had loads of time to warm up

West Mids Championships 2012

Not a very good area tbh, the course was really easy and kind of annoying, I needed a challenge but you just had to run, someones going to have it coming for them at the british champs ha! I made like no mistakes apart from missing the last control, nearly as I followed the tapes and just didn't see it, my route choice was a bit iffy there too -60secs, so could have moved up to 5th and made some little hesitations thoughout the course, particualary number 1. :( Lost some time on number 7 -20secs and 10 -10secs.

Other than that it was okay, just so hot I felt really dehydrated and unable to run as fast as normal, wish I had had a earlier start, but anyway did okay I think I was 7th which seen as it is a selection is okay and i've got a 5th so thats okay too.

I guess I did about 5.5km and 180m climb but you're not allowed to wear Garmins so I don't really know..

Urban Orienteering Race Malvern, West Mids

Was pretty well warmed up and felt good at the start. Navigated well apart from number 1 where I was super close (like 1m) away from the control but I just didn't see it at all so spent 1.30 running around thinking I had gone really wrong when it was just kind of hidden, and then on number 11 (I think) I ran up the path through the wall as I thought the control was on the other side but had to run down and climb up to the control which was in a stupid position on a really slippy bank, lost about 20-30 secs. And I'm not complaining but 14 was in the wrong place :/.

Just took it slow really because of tomorrow, had a okay run and came 4th :) which is fine, considering I made about 2ish mins of mistakes and jogged most of it. Meant to be 2.1 but garmin says 3.2 so...

Dodgeball then Basketball

Was pretty fun, I love having double PE on friday after period 3 we have no real subjects as we have PD after so its really good.

I've sorted out my revision timetable so I'm doing over 10 hours of revision a week, and my exams come first so I'm concentrating on them not training even though I'll try and do my best all the same. Looking forward to the weekend :)

Sams Running

Wore my new shoes (yay) which felt really nice and gentle on my feet, much better than my 3yr old New Balance ones.

Ran to the telephone box up the long way and did a initial lap to get numbers for when to go off on the next ones, fastest last.

Did 5, 750m loops on hills up and down. Felt pretty good, quite a easy session really. Averaging about 3.15 mins for each at about 75%-85% intensity, deteriorated towards the end but my form was better than normal considering the bit of illness I've been feeling.
