English Schools Fell Running Championships

Doing fell running for my GCSE PE so had to do this really. Was OK, learnt alot and was intresting to see the speed of girls in my year ect.

Went okay, was loads faster up hill and was definatly in the top 8/10 for the hills however my feet just hurt on the downhill and my running style is much worse down them, also I fell over.

Was 15th out of about 35, which wasnt the best but ive been ill ect. could have done better but on the day thats it. The winner beat me my 10 minutes ish.. from near Leeds but everyone seemed to be pretty close and I was only 2 minutes out of the top 10.

Natalie was 9th and I was beating her for the hill when I overtook her ahh but she is such a faster runner, need to work on my speed and downhill over winter :)

40 Min Sprint Score Event in Cockermouth

Was fun although I went to some pointless controls and missed out on points by low light bad map reading. Got 15 controls but 2 were over the time lime

Although I won the female long park series so thats good :) and now I can buy some more kit from c'sport with my prize. yay

The talk with Helen Winskill and social pie and peas afterwards as well and got some really great tips which i'm going to try out :)

Although had to go a different way at first as it was all across farmers fields and I got stuck in the gorse bushes trying to get out. :(

Glad I did it, even though I run there all the time it was good to see what it was like at that speed ect. looks a bit precarious in some places though..
