East of Scotland champs on Penicuik Estate. Not the nicest area ever, lots of steep slopes and brambles etc... Okay run, not particularly fast and some dodgy mapping put me off on occasion. Mostly on #16. Found #17 fine after following a elephant track through some bracken but others had issues with it meaning I won the course by more than I should have. Retained the most important trophy of the year having been 1st out of 1 in M20. They decided to not hand the M21 trophy out as nobody was eligible somehow... Okay day out despite it being freezing hanging around for prize giving.

Penicuik urban race. Felt disgustingly slow having pedaled fairly hard to make it on time for my start. I won't make a good triathlete. Twisted my ankle a bit on the way to #1 as well so hobbled a bit until I managed to run it off. Still very slow and a few dodgy routes meant quite a poor time to be honest. Only enough for 2nd.

FWTN round Kings. Running by myself mostly thanks to some mental gaffling by Nixon. Only real mistake except some minor routes was standing next to a control for like 15 seconds without being able to see it. Came out at the end with Dan, Tam and Will but lost my head to the last control and went a stupid way and lost them by like 5 seconds. Great fun.
