Running 52:54 [3] 8.75 km (6:03 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

By myself on the seat. Attempted a quick split up MFD right at the start but lack of light, strong wind, wet conditions and being by myself led to a lack of motivation just when you need it most. Basically the same time when we did it an hour into an already hilly run. Then round Winnie and up the crags. Very dark on the crags led to an incredibly slow descent.

Running 24:43 [3] 4.93 km (5:01 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

Was intending to do much longer. Set out by myself with the intention of meeting the other lads after 20 minutes or so and then do another 40 or 50. Instead I did 20 minutes by myself met them and decided to sack it in due to the honestly foul weather conditions. I know its an excuse but running round the seat in near freezing conditions with horizontal rain in the dark is not my idea of fun. Sitting in my room watching the football seemed much more appealing for some reason.

Running warm up/down 17:12 [2] 3.48 km (4:57 / km) +10m 4:52 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

Up.

Orienteering 35:47 [4] 5.66 km (6:19 / km) +270m 5:06 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

FWTN on the seat. Mass started with Will, Ali and Tim. Felt better than I thought I would and was able to crush the first hill. Running with Will from 5 until 9 having messed 8 up along the way. Think Will missed 10 so cruised in from there by myself to take the win whilst avoiding my near death on 14 and 15.

Running warm up/down 23:05 [3] 4.2 km (5:30 / km) +60m 5:08 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

Longer warm down round the seat with Callum, Tim and Andy. V windy.

Running 21:46 [2] 4.19 km (5:12 / km) +83m 4:44 / km
shoes: New Balance trainers

Jog out to the start of the EUOC TT.

Running 14:38 [5] 3.7 km (3:57 / km) +114m 3:26 / km
shoes: New Balance trainers

EUOC TT. Fairly pleased. Felt good coming back down the hill towards the end and immediately regretted pushing down it and on the flat as soon as I hit the final climb just after going through the start again. Suffering going up it without any knowledge of how far away the finish was as I'd not run it before. Not registered on Strava. Not happy.

Running 1:00:14 [2] 9.86 km (6:07 / km) +256m 5:24 / km
shoes: New Balance trainers

Very steady round Braids after.

Running 1:00:17 [3] 9.99 km (6:02 / km) +336m 5:10 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

No intervals as Coach Nixon is out of town so hilly run on the seat instead in the dark. Crags twice and Purko's Arete. No MFD sadly :'(

Running long 1:29:50 [3] 17.95 km (5:00 / km) +126m 4:50 / km
shoes: New Balance trainers

'Easing' back into it... Started out intending to go for 40-50 mins. As I ran around exploring I ended up arriving at the Hearts football ground. It was at this point I thought to myself, 'Why don't I run between the two Edinburgh football stadiums? It can't be that far.' How wrong I was. A long while later and having got lost a fair bit in between, I finally arrived at Easter Road, the home of the mighty Hibs, having already run an hour. At one point I managed to get stuck in a graveyard in the dark for about a km as there wasn't an exit at the far end. Anyway finally made it back after double the intended time.
