Orienteering race 1:05:20 [4] 8.4 km (7:47 / km)

SYO level B event at Cawthorne. Short brown. Out late last night and never really got my heart into it. Helped at the start for an hour and very rushed start. Brambles were awful. Saw dad behind me at the second road crossing which pushed me on a bit but he was still 5 mins quicker.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering race 1:12:13 [4] 10.82 km (6:40 / km)

British Night Champs 2015, M20, 4th. Middleton Park. Decent run. No major mistakes just minor things where I've lost half a minute occasionally. Anyway slightly annoyingly I'm just off Joe and Oli, 40 secs off Joe in 2nd. But pretty pleased that I'm that close. Good effort from AP.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [3] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)

2km 20 mins out to Honley Moor.
2km 10 mins back.
I was the only one? sorry what?

Running hills 20:00 [5] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)

200m effort, 200m recovery; 300m effort, 300m recovery X 4. By myself with Alywn there. Bit odd really.

Orienteering 56:11 [3] 5.3 km (10:36 / km)

Night event at Lyn Valley? Anyway just practice before Saturday. Went alright, just an error on 2 where I dropped far too early but I'm putting that down to not being able to judge distance well at night. Also running through the terrain I'mnot good at. Just not confident enough at night.

Running 1:30:00 [3] 16.8 km (5:21 / km)

I've actually gone for a run. Honley wood route. Out the fields at the back of the house. Over to upperthong, then netherthong, up to oldfield and across more fields to honley wood. Across the top and down past the reservoir into meltham. Then pretty much 2 miles of constant uphill to the top road above the Huntsman. Down and right at the cross road past digley car park and back through the woods. Took dads Garmin so time/distance is accurate. Ok it actually took 1 hour 29 minutes and 59 seconds if you want to be picky.
