Orienteering race 43:37 [4] 5.1 km (8:33 / km)

SYO club champs. Loxley Common. All the courses were handicapped and so I ended up with a relatively long course compared to most people. At the moment I only know that oli had a a longer course. Slight twist to the event was that most maps didn't have any paths. Pretty good run actually. Very few mistakes. Worst one was getting stuck in some horrible boulders/bracken/brambles and lost like a minute maybe trying to get through them. Also no. 60 was actually no. 66 on the control and nobody realised and so lost like another minute deciding wether it was ment to be 60 or not. Came back 3rd. Winner was 10 minutes ahead of everyone else. Happy I didn't win actually as it means I probably won't have to organize next year's event...

Running club at college. Don't know where we went at all, quite a decent pace just a fair bit of stopping as no-one knew the route

Orienteering 35:01 [4] 4.5 km (7:47 / km)

Brimham rocks, black course. Really enjoyable event/area. Lost a bit of time here or there but not too much. Biggest mistake came on 18 where I just ran in the wrong direction and ended up relocating on a fence near 12. Finished 4th on black, 4 mins behind Joe and annoyingly 7 seconds behind dad :/

Warm down with Joe afterwards. Nice jog around most of the area

Orienteering 19:02 [4] 2.0 mi (9:31 / mi)

SPOOK Relays. Ran in a team with Dad. I ran legs 1,3 & 5. Started of with a shorter gaffle. Not such a good first leg followed OJ a slightly wrong way to 1 then managed to relocate better than him and so got to it first. I think i was leading to 4 when i just didnt think and ended up running up the wrong marsh and losing everyone. Ended up at 5 first and then had to run back down the hill into 4. Lost 2-2.5 minutes. Lost a few more seconds in the boulders just by not knowing exactly where i was.

Orienteering 21:30 [4] 2.0 mi (10:45 / mi)

3rd leg. Slightly longer leg than 1. Had a much cleaner run than the first time. A slight mistake on 3 where i ended up too high. Much better in the boulders this time just being used to the type of area that it was.

Orienteering 16:16 [4] 2.0 mi (8:08 / mi)

Leg 5. A similar length to the first leg. Went out just behind a couple of Dad's old man rivals. Aiming to catch them i went out fairly quick and then caught them at around 5. In general a pretty clean run with almost no mistakes.

Running 45:00 [3] 9.4 km (4:47 / km) +118m 4:30 / km

Ran from H.H all the way home as i arrived at the hut 40 minutes early due to Dad not wanting to come and pick me up so let mum do it instead and she needed to go to TT early. Ran through Brockholes, New Mill, past Holmfirth High, through Holmfirth and back home.

Running club enrichment. Such a boring route. Literally ran up a long steady hill on the same road all the way to New College and then ran back down a parallel road all the way back to the our college again. no idea of the distance

Run in the dark by myself instead of harriers as I want to watch the football. Not very quick due to lack of light and having not really gone out in the dark much. Headtorch I had was rubbish

5km Parkrun, Huddersfield. pretty pleased with my time. legs felt pretty weak for most of the course which was odd but still made it round well.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 5.0 mi (12:00 / mi)

SYO training around Redmire woods. There was a corridor exercise, simplification and a contour only. All on different parts of the area and thoroughly enjoyable. Not too many mistakes. Worst one was running right over the top of a kite and so running too far and thus having to run back.

enrichment running club. very standard run through some graveyard, i dont even know where we went

Played matt again. lost this time but the conditions outdoors were very dodgy indeed. wind blowing the ball everywhere and the court was slightly damp causing it to skid quite a bit

5 x 900m intervals at H.H. Rather large hill in the middle of the loop made it pretty tough

Warm up/down 20:00 [3] 2.5 km (8:00 / km)

Warm up. Run out to the loop and then 2 loops of the circuit

Warm up/down 20:00 [2] 2.0 km (10:00 / km)

Warm down. Run through the centre of Honley, up Long Lane to Oldfield and then back down through Smithy Place

Orienteering 51:07 [4] 8.4 km (6:05 / km)

3rd interland selection on windmill hill near Frimley. Had a fairly decent run. lost 30 secs ish on 2, about the same on 15 and about the same on 17. Caught Hamish at the road crossing which was nice. Ended up 2nd on short brown about a minute down on Nathan but beat dad by about a minute as well despite him having a near perfect run he reckons. Probably going to be traveling reserve for interland as an M18 then or running as an M20 i have no idea..

Mountain biking race 1:17:00 [3] 9.0 mi (8:33 / mi)

MTBO around Shirebrook Valley. Did the A course so could compare against dad. The 5 map exchanges were a bit of a faff. Really good fun but a shame that I'm completely hopeless at it. Was 19 minutes. Behind dad and 26 minutes behind the winner. Wasn't that my navigation was poor I just cant ride a bike very well

6 x 500m intervals around gyn lane loop, was quicker than the people I normally run with so did most of it by myself in the end

Brown course on a hill that I have forgotten the name of. Lost about 3 mins on no. 3. Apart from that, fairly clean with a few little errors. 3 mins behind dad...

Yorkshire squad training around bishop woods in the lakes. Hung kites fir the middle bit and then did 4 exercises I think?
