Orienteering 1:08:00 [4] 7.4 km (9:11 / km)

ainsdale, short brown course. delightful area just a bit to many brashings in the open bit. woods were gorgeous (only orienteers :L) not a great run, started well but got slowly worse and when i got back in the forest made some big mistakes. would never have got near will but could have certainly got under the hour. whole course basically built up to the mighty 100m leg 17 where i successfully took 6 seconds out of 2nd fastest split and 10 secs on will, toughest leg of the course, not gonna lie...

Running 50:00 [4] 6.0 km (8:20 / km)

long run with harriers, distance and times are estimates, if anything longer. was trying to find a group doing farlek but failed and ended up running with wolves 2, the second best group at the whole athletics club. started off a little too fast for me but seemed to slow up before the seniors and under 20s i think went off on a shorter loop that was a good pace. class race up a little steep cobbled thing that i was 3rd/4. going with them again next week and having asked they are doing intervals :)

Orienteering 36:22 [4] 6.0 km (6:04 / km)

peter palmer relays, syo 2nd team, green and 6th leg. good run, set of just behind aire and bok and caught them quick as both their runners were young. then didnt see anyone else till the last loop just after spectator. went past leicester who i thought were also on joan george. then caught loc 2nd team going to the last control who were winning the joan george before last leg and managed to get james allison i think to the last control. we won JG. think i caught around 10 minutes on the loc team. i was only 4 mins down on aiden and two seconds down on will so happy with that.

Orienteering 1:13:59 [3] 8.4 km (8:48 / km)

longshaw event, ran brown, quite tired after the earlier run and lack of sleep. simon b caught me going to 7 i think before he gave up and missed a big chunk out. no mistakes particularly just really slow. finished 23rd out of about 35
