Contours 1 course. used the map with all the features to sort of get me into it. Went well few small mistakes but resonably good :)

Contours 2 course. Used the all contours map. Again went well all good practice :)

Long and short legs. Cut the course short so went to 5 straight from the start. practicing transitions between longer spells of concentration to quick short spells. Had a problem not using my compass as well as i should have done and came out of a couple of controls in the wrong direction :/

Traffic lighting. practicing slowing down coming into controls and going quicker at the start. was followed by josh beech for the first 5 before he left me. navigated well on those with a few small hesitations. josh said that i need to practice running in terrain more. (note to self, terrain runs) really screwed up 11 though. stopped way too short and got very confused before following cari into it :S was heaving it down so we only did 1 course and noone really wanted to do another. shame really :/

really good night sprint relay around the youth hostel. i was on 3rd leg with joe on 1st and jake 2nd. jake came back bout 4/5th ish after a stormer, getting fastest time! chose wrong shoes as i had trainers and was slipping everywhere. so many controls tho (35!) and couldnt get any flow as checking all codes as there were so many controls! had a decent run, didnt mispunch like over half of everyone there! 9th quickest so fairly happy :) team was 2nd i think behind wales
