2 nets full and 3 were brand new players. All got the hang of it pretty quickly, although the new person I brought still was playing like it was tennis at the end.

The FF Dirt Cheap race at Mendon Ponds. In July, they run the race in reverse of the route done in April. That means the start begins by descending to Devils Bathtub via stairs so it's a staggered start w/ 1 person going every 5 secs. I was bib # 336 so my start was about 30 mins after bib # 1 started. (note to self: do NOT sign up next year for this race). Other than the long wait, things were fine. Patty and Walt were the only Lyons in attendance. Also saw the Bordon brothers....it looked like Tyler was carrying an orienteering map while racing.

A run on the HJ trail before breakfast. The FR had a low battery when I turned it on so it died before I was done - used data from a similar run done about 9 days ago
