I was aiming for a long slow 7 miler w/ no walking breaks, but my groin area muscles felt too sore for that (from strength training the day before). I succumbed to a 4 min walk at the 6 mile mark with a half-hearted run back the rest of the way home..

The traditional New Year's run. The weather was the best I can remember it ever being. Rlshadow kept a good pace for me to stay with him. We are pretty well matched when he's under-trained :) Post race food: 2 Schutts farmmade donuts :)
