Walk up Llyn Elsi Reservoir with C, including steep 130m climb through grotty forest. Walked around reservoir and went for swim too. Good warm up for what turned out to be a veteran/teenager boot camp week

Swimming 23:00 [3] 0.7 km (32:51 / km)

Llyn Elsi Reservoir - across and back round the islands, around 14 degs. Getting cold by the end. Mostly breaststroke, which was just as well, as legs were covered in clear slimey algae when I got out- yuck! No lasting damage from algae- well not so far.

Newlands, Coombe & Crocknorth, back via Effingham, TTing without a front light in twilight on 246.
Crocknorth was far easier than I remember.
Skinniest I've been for a couple of decades.
