Shuffling running over the week whilst dog walking. Enough to aggravate nerve but nothing worse so far.

Lido - bought a watch. Times were disappointing, but at least I felt my timing was off today. 150 (3.30), 2 x 100, the rest was part drills and faster 50s. Need to sort out goggles, that tending to steam up in the colder water, and yet another excuse to stop!

Lido - before work. Very nice indeed! Bought a season ticket.
Eat normal light breakfast (never eat before swimming), stretched thoroughly for 10 min, dropped C at school and swam 400m straight off. Not swum more than 200m continuously for a year (mild panic issues with crawl and breathing out underwater), after 250 I felt fine, relaxed and if anything moving better than earlier. Then did 2 x 100m before lower back started getting painful, but 600m was the plan in any case. The "plan" is a little and often.
