Swimming 50:00 [3] 1.5 km (33:20 / km)

SSP (indoor - 25m) - aimed to repeat 2 x 400, but struggled initially so something like 2 x 150 2 x 200 1 x 300. Kept miscounting lengths. Ended up with 8.14 for 300m, 4 lengths short despite checking watch earlier! Around 10s quicker per 100 than last week and legs a lot higher too.

Swimming 25:00 [3] 1.0 km (25:00 / km)

Lido (wetsuit) - carried on thinking about hands and finally have the strength to bring arms overhead making pulling easier and faster. 4 x 100m av 2.08, huge 11s better than Tuesday and 17s (12%) quicker than 3 weeks ago. 1 x 200m - 4.41, a big pb improvement in a 50m pool.

Whatever the experts say, some basic strength and reasonable flexibility is required to attempt a reasonable technique.

Swimming 35:00 [3] 1.4 km (25:00 / km)

Lido - tried speeding up strokes and concentrating on hands. Seemed to help av 2.19. Becoming aware of so many faults. Had fleeting moments of getting some momentum going and starting to feel more relaxed in wetsuit and pool.
