Swimming 25:00 [3] 0.8 km (31:15 / km)

Hope Cove - choppy round various buoys twice. Had hoped to round the holiday off with a swim on a rising tide both ways between the coves, but high tide was too late. Yet another of many reasons to return again. Great holiday and can't wait to get back in the pool to see if I'm any stronger - certainly not difficult to improve in this area!

Hope Cove - choppy between various buoys. Then 30 mins (added 10 mins to swim time) of body boarding with C and from what I could see wetsuits were more effective but less fun than bogey boards

Blackpool Sands - the sea was much calmer but still choppy. Swam out and back to platform three times and once to the buoys. Didn't plan to do so much each time, but each time I went to get out someone else joined me. The most swimming I've done.

South Milton - forgot wetsuit and the sea was the roughest I've swum in and there was a noticeable sideways current. Got dumped on the shingle beach and had my first experience of extracting gravel from my ears!

Holiday is fast becoming a swimming Boot Camp.
