Note

Hopefully had a eureka moment last night. thought I'd compare bike setups with www.competitivecyclist.com suggested fit that uses 8 body measurements. Realised my saddle had been shifted forwards 30mm last November for a tt, just before I got injured and was never readjusted - doah! No wonder I've lacked power on hills.

WM Group Ride - Ewshot-Dogmersfield-Odiham-Long Lane-Long Sutton-Lasham(coffee)-Long Sutton-then burst tyre!
First WM ride for 6 mths, went with medium group of 10, slowest on hills including the girls. Had two blow outs on the front tyre, then the tyre ripped as it was being gas filled. The lads looked after me well. Dave picked me up from a pub, which gave me a very pleasant 3 mile walk wheeling the bike in the sun. First front wheel puncture (pinch) in 2,000 miles. Couldn't have chosen a better day for it.
Spent 20-25 mins at TH, quickest ride this year, a bit pacey for me, but exactly what's needed. A great cafe stop too at Lasham Airfield.

Finally took the "new" tt bike out complete with spd's (previous owner had strapes!) and did around 5 fast sections, a couple of hills. Seems as new, outer gears have no oil or wear on them and all original parts. Appears faster on and off the aerobars and more comfortable than clip on bars. Need to do a few more rides to get used to position and gearing 53/39 and 11-23.

Back, neck and shoulder out of alignment and still no chiro appt. So no long ride this w/e and plenty of ibu.

Not planned. Neck/shoulder problem, neck seems aligned but shoulder in spasm. Could do with an easy week in any case.

A great scenic route, twisty, hilly, narrow lanes, a perfect weekend route rather than during the rush hour! Tired from the weekend and felt out of sorts. Need to avoid staleness.

Started as recovery session, but ended at a reasonable level of effort.

Thought I'd check out if this aggravated anything, felt fine apart from stinging eyes, no goggles!
