Walking 30:00 [1]

Slept in for over 10 hours.
6 PM

Cycling 59:42 [2] 14.0 mi (4:16 / mi) +360m 3:57 / mi
shoes: Giant Defy 1

Albury-Farley Green-Shamley-Chinthurst Hilly Ride
Shortest quiet ride loop I've found, mainly single track and hilly, really needed to destress and still too delicate to risk a run. HR btw 135 to 148 over second half, higher than planned, but numerous short 10% plus hills.

Orienteering 50:22 [2] 5.7 km (8:50 / km) +15m 8:43 / km

Elstead Commons - BAOC - 5.7k 50.22
An area of large bogs, tussocks and pleasant open/meadow woodland. Going through the boggy tussocks meant I had to fully commit to every stride rather than shuffle along (so ended up running more than shuffling). Only one instant in knee deep tussocks when abdomonial area felt strained. Lost 2.5 mins on 3 (dubious selective thicket mapping!), saw 12 but thought was in the middle of the clearing rather than edge (-45s), then lost 45s on the last control taking notice of others.
Pleased, only 2 mins down on leader on a physical course. Assuming I recover alright then its game on for BOC.
