Scalded my upper abdomen, spilt part of a giant saucepan of boiling water and vegetables. Thank goodness I had well elasticated boxer shorts (M&S - who else!). Spent 15 mins in cold shower, ibu, half bottle of champagne, plus pure lavender oil (burns cure used by French in 1WW). Very painful for 2/3 hours, but intuition says I've escaped 2nd degree burns. No evening run today and defintely no sit ups! Got a walk in before lunch though.
30 x 100m - 12s off. Shuttle on soft woodland path. Staying relaxed 80% effort only. Was going to call it a day as legs felt really jaded, but not particularly stiff. Did a few and started to feel OK. Maybe Xmas shopping in the afternoon finished legs off? Plan was 3-5 min intervals at moderate effort.
8 min wu, 10 pliates, 24 inc balance, various s leg squats, lunges with w/out bal, wts, exts. Focus on relaxation. Balance rapidly improving, pilates better.

Barossa - BAOC Training Event Very enjoyable run through the best bits, a fair amount through the heather and no marshes. Lost 1.5mins on 21 a pit on a hillside and around 75s on remainder. Moving well. Just the right length for fast mid-week run.
