Lido(nws) - Mainly 50s, no wetsuit. Swimming with a wetsuit seems to help swimming without, more than the other way around. Possibly wishful thinking!

Lido(ws) - 100wu, 4 x 100 av 1.55, 70 rest. 50 wd. Equals best time from Nov 2014.

Calf seems to be recovering from activity slightly quicker week by week. More gentle activity = more circulation = quicker recovery etc.

Bloom Wood - Short Green. Good course and day to out in the woods. Only walked 20% where it was rough/slippy/or uphill and "ran" with tiny symmetrical paces. Lost 10+s at 5, 20s at 6 in circle. Forgotten how annoyed you can get with yourself and less forgivable going slower, lost 75s going to more prominent thicket at 9. Short, even for a short green, which suited me. Pleased how calf felt during and after. Took 400ibu in advance. Will try to keep active for next 48 hrs.

Blackheath, including some O speed shuffling. Caught the tail end of the Guildford Hash and discovered an ex-GO orienteer's memorial seat entitled, "Last control" with a O flag on the plaque. Cool!

Chantries orange with C. Strange going along old animal tracks on steep slopes that I used to train on to find they are now shown as small paths on the new 1:7.5k map. Well attended fun event.

Note

Eureka moment potentially!? Counter intuitively tried freeing nerve before orienteering by flossing nerve vigorously around 2 hrs before, using the logic that the reaction afterwards would mainly consist of aggravating the nerve rather than minor muscle damage. Hopefully a freer aggravated nerve, will be better than a mild but continuous aggravation of the nerve.

Lido(ws) - 100wu, started a 400, and ended up doing 100s slower than at the w/e. Felt sore on last one.
