Orienteering race 44:20 [5] 8.0 km (5:33 / km)

Slufters Inclosure, New Forest
Blomquist Championships
Blue - 7km
Winnerrr!

Very straight forward course was like a light green as all controls were just off the track. Felt weak in the heather, need to get training on Ash Ranges, shame they always shooting. Jeff Butt said when he saw me I was running strong though :) Good fun though even in the wind and rain - gotta love New Forest :)

Orienteering race 55:34 [4] 9.0 km (6:10 / km)

London City Race
Womens Open - 7km + 30 controls
1st Junior (Terrys Choc Orange yum) & 3rd WO (Wineee!)

Number 1 good, 2 I couldnt work out how to get down to ground, wasted time. All went good after that (couple of bad route choices) till....a stitch ruined my race completely, never had one as painful like today and well I never get stitches anyway when I run? Ate at 9.30 so wasnt cus of food. Had to walk from 13 to 14 and take a very slow jog from 14 to 20. Tried picking it back up but legs had warmed down by then and I gave up at 14 so all in all, saaad...cus I wanted to wiiin! I was in the lead till I got the damn stiiiitch! Big lesson learnt - shouldnt give up and stop trying

Orienteering 1:00:00 [1] 5.0 km (12:00 / km)

Too tired to run around it so walked round a course planned on Windmill Hill with Mum and Jaspie. Orienteering is so easy when you walk!!

Also we got proper spooked by this army guy he was so close to us in his watch tower by a control and our every move was followed by him and his GUN. Like proper seriously aiming it at us was friggin scaaary. We were orienteering not bloody terrorists jeeez. Wanted to report him!!
7 PM

Running intervals 35:16 [5] 7.73 km (4:34 / km)

AFD Session

1 x road rep (road relays approaching) - 1.9km in 6:55
