JK Long - Cold Ash

Hot again. Sadly didn't have Camelbak so decided to take a small (330ml) bottom of water which promptly fell out of my pocket before the start kite... had to carry it after that - another unnecessary foreign item in addition to the two emiTags... Made map folding 'processes' more complicated but glad I took it in the end...

#10 Probably quicker to return to northern path but hadn't planned ahead sufficiently [45]
#11 Poor exit through green from previous control. Then a little hesitant crossing crossable fence [60]
#13 Overshot to control on wall [40]
#22 Neither round nor straight with the scattered holly [20]
#24 Top of spur would have been faster [15]
#25 Took low route through houses. Went to drinks point (the only one and the only time a sensible route went past it) but they had run out of water........... good job I had taken some myself. Briefly entered wrong block towards end of leg [30]

Made it to the end a bit better than last year certainly - no cramp and at least a little energy remaining! (Took 6 jelly babies and a fruit bake!)

Pretty sure I moved up in the overall standings - results awaited.
