Went for a loopy run around Holiday Park with Aragorn and Mike M. Lots of map updates are needed.

Evening run up the Monon. Legs felt blah so I stopped after the N bound segment and wandered around for 3 min before restarting a slightly longer and faster return.

O-Illini meet, short course at Crystal Lake Park
2.8 km
Meet 22, course 32,33

Good fun on a pretty open so definitely a runner's course. I had fresh legs. Only a few mistakes that totalled less than 1 min (including excess punching time). Alex James flew on this for his 2nd run.

Orienteering race 21:03 intensity: (13 @0) + (4 @1) + (3 @2) + (1:12 @3) + (5:25 @4) + (14:06 @5) ** 3.88 km (5:25 / km) +12m 5:20 / km

2nd course, 3.3 km long sprint.

Worked hard on this. I need to put in a bit more sprint training. I felt like I was flagging badly on some of the later longer legs and suspect that some more interval work might help. 2nd on the day by 9 seconds to Aragorn.

This was the nicer course with more route choice using the bridges. Thanks to Wang-ki and David!
