Meet 15, course 23 - Gold Rush Sprint

It was hard getting out of the car on a really hot, sunny day and focusing, so this was the most pathetic sprint run that I have put in in a while. I completely lost it on control 3. I tried to get moving again was able to enjoy parts of the course. The cheering at the finish encouraged me in from the go.

A solid Father's Day run with A. He wrote out directions for the previous wiggly run, stuffed it in a clue sheet holder and we were off. We made one mistake of about 0.3 miles doubled by backtracking but otherwise completed the task. It was nice to close my eyes and just follow him for the last two miles. Well over 80 and humid so I was really glad we took water.

Opening up the margins of the XC trail. Swinging the weed-eater continuously for that long, only taking breaks to load cable and fuel, was more work than I had anticipated. Some walking laps of the trail as well to recover lawn implements.

A round of field work with Aidan to sort out a training map for a group at Anderson Univ.
