Holliday Park 2.95k medium sprint

It was admittedly a bit long, especially with all of the run-arounds to stay on the trails. This constraint limited and forced distinct choices that actually made some of the decisions harder than if the beating-it-cross-country option had been open.

Really felt the uphills.

Forgot to download my second run so I guess I am still on the course. The meet director apparently hasn't noticed yet.

Similar issues to the first run with the climbs and holding a strong pace. I chose one really long route choice (to C14?) to avoid the stairs and large reentrant but I forgot they were stone steps rather than wood so my choice was particularly poor (I cringe at running down slippy wood steps in Salomons). This cost about 45s. I made one 15 s navigation error running to the control inside the stone wall due to a lapse in focus. Didn't have the speed to keep up with the leaders on this one.

The 3rd 5k at North Central (our 2nd as we were away for #2). Running on grass is just exhausting, I should do it much more.
