Running long 2:10:00 [3] 25.0 km (5:12 / km)
shoes: Brooks - Cascadia (Grey)

"The Dances with Rocks trail-run"
Came away from a trip to Running Free with two LOOOOONG overdue newly purchased shoes. Brooks Cascadias for the trails and Racer ST's to stomp all over the Toronto Marathon with Superwes in October. As the Cascadias are an option for the world's in three week's I needed to evaluate them. Hit the Hilton Falls - Bruce Trail side loop for a circuit sans race kit; plus run to/from my folk's place. Felt light, fast and strong for the first time in ages; maybe it's the shoes, more likely it's all just phsycological. Beautiful evening for a run!

A bit worried as I felt a tweak in my left foot, which I hope is from a improperly placed foot at somepoint during the extremely rocky run and not infact the Cascadias.

Sunnybrook Underwear Affair Walk

Beautiful evening walk along the lake and Queen St in the Beaches.

Running warm up/down 35:00 [2]

Running intervals 20:00 [5]

TOTNT - solo

1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1, with 1min 'off' between; plus 2min rest between 4's.

Legs felt super heavy! ...no real surprise. Didn't feel like I was turning them over with any decent cadence, or atleast it was a concerted effort to maintain the cadance I was putting out.

Stairs 8:00 intensity: (5:00 @2) + (3:00 @5)

ten sets, alternating singles and doubles.
...plus some spanst to close 'er out.
