Cabin John event. Lots of thorny green, Lots of trail run. Lots of stream crossings. I did manage to keep my feet dry by crossing on logs and rocks every time.

At the road crossing. I hit another control on the trail and misread the control number and thought it was the one I was looking for. This resulted in me missing the road crossing control. Amy Louden was telling me there was a mandatory crossing but I didn't see it on my map and there was no cross walk where the control was. I had already crossed the road so ran down to the bridge. I also lost time as I punched the control and then took a drink. I checked the controls when I crossed back over and realized my mistake.

I couldn't find the finish control. I ran the download area where there was a control hanging. There was no control on the finish stand.

Lost time on #18: I was looking for the double cliff, not the too small ruin. There is an unmapped cliff below it which I went down and checked.

WHOOHOOO. I managed to tough out all 4 miles at my slow place (without having to slow down more). It wasn't easy as I cardio just isn't in shape. I am slowly getting to a point I can run again.
Watched the redskins get slaughtered on TV while running. Painful to run and painful to watch.
