It took me 20 seconds to find the start triangle. By then I was very far back in the pack. I had to run hard and try to catchup to the leaders. which was difficult on a the trail run. I just followed the leaders without really reading the map first. Did the first window. When the lead group split I could see that some were skipping the #8 accidentally. I yelled out. Did the 2nd window following the group but I did start reading the map more. Followed group to 16,17. On 18 group ran away from me. I decided to skip 3 window and catch back up to the lead group. The third window had a lot of green which is why I decided to skip it. It was a bad decision as skpping the next window saves a lot of distance but I didn't realize that. Orienteered the 4 window by myself until Wyatt and Chris caught me at the end. Followed them for awhile until they ran away. After #30 I headed to the wrong window. I started going to "O" control. Lost quite a bit of time and places.

Another Thursday, another 3 losses. My team is at its usual 0 wins. At this week the other team beat us rather than us losing to them. they had to actually play and get points unlike last week.
