Run (road) 38:25 [3] 4.52 mi (8:30 / mi)
shoes: 2015 Nike Accelerate 3

My Nike Air shoes have a flat in the right shoe. The air has popped somehow.

I was still sore from soccer.. Very stiff when I started running. It was good to loosed up from soccer.

Soccer (indoor) 35:00 [4]
shoes: Soccer Indoor Nike 2013 Mercer

After taking the 10 week summer session off, I was ready for soccer, except I was now 10 weeks out of shape. so was the rest of the team. We played poorly as team. We lost 11-6. I personally didn't play bad. I just didn't play well either.

After a hair cut and dinner, went for a walk with Darcy. It had cooled off some but the flies were biting which was very annoying.

Orienteering (Severn Danza: Bike) 17:18 [3] *** 2.13 mi (8:07 / mi)
spiked:15/15c shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

doing Control Pickup for the CarGaine Summer Series. There are 10 parks, each with differing terrain, courses,scale.... the object is to visit as many controls as you can in the 4 hour period.
I hosted the event yesterday but today was control pickup day so I could run/bike it.
It took longer than expected to get everything picked up. Partly because I ran out of steam and had to walk the final course, partly because I spent time de-chiggering and changing socks after each wooded orienteering section before driving to the next park.
I drank some between events but still ended up losing 10 pounds during the event.

this park. I did it on Bike except the 2 northern controls across the stream I did on foot.

Orienteering (Sawmill park sprint) 14:22 [4] ** 2.12 km (6:47 / km)
spiked:11/11c shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

Sprint. I tried to run hard but was already getting tired. I was picking up the controls. There was one dogleg area so I dropped the controls off but forgot to pick them back up when I ran by. I added about 100m as a result having to go back and pick them up.

Orienteering (Thomas Dixon/Park 100) 31:38 [2] *** 5.68 mi (5:34 / mi)
spiked:19/19c shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

Biked these ones.

Orienteering (Queenstown) 19:21 [3] *** 2.13 km (9:05 / km)
spiked:7/7c shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

trails are harder than expected. would have been quicker on foot if you could run.

Orienteering (Severn Square) 15:00 [2] ** 2.76 km (5:26 / km)
spiked:13/13c shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

did this on bike. Easy controls by thighs were very tired.

Orienteering (Jessup Dory) 4:48 [3] 0.66 km (7:16 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

on foot. Pickup a few quick controls.

Orienteering (Jessup) 2:19 [3] 0.25 km (9:16 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

Quick 3 on foot.

Orienteering (Meade School) 48:28 [3] *** 4.2 km (11:32 / km)
spiked:16/16c shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

Went 4.56 on bike and 0.92 on foot.

Orienteering (Meade Woods) 42:05 [3] *** 3.25 km (12:57 / km)
spiked:9/9c shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2015?

Too tired to run. legs threatening to cramp and not move. So I just walked. It was much easier this time as I mapped the routes that were not good.
6 PM

walk (road) 30:00 [1] 1.5 mi (20:00 / mi)

Walked back with Darcy to get my car and bike from the CVS lot. Went for a slurpee after. I earned it.
