Orienteering (Blockhouse) 1:13:19 [3] 4.31 mi (17:01 / mi)
shoes: O icebugs 2015

I was all exited to get some orienteering in. That lasted tot he first control. I ran to marsh tip but the control was correctly on the vague spur. Oh well, I ran on to #2 and never found it. It was mis-hung. I took it easy after that. Woods were generally nice give the time of year.

Soccer (indoor) 48:00 [3]
shoes: Soccer Indoor Nike 2013 Mercer

The other team was a no show. fortunately, one of the teams that just played was willing to stay and scrimmage us. We played without goalies. It was hot and humid out/in.
I took it easy as I didn't want to get hurt. Everytime I pushed up to the front my team couldn't match their offense. Everyone, both sides, was using this as an opportunity to dribble by everyone and the other team was succeeding at beating my team (but not me). We ended up tieing 15-15. It was a very high scoring goal (little defense) but lots of offense.

Event: QOC Jug Bay

8 AM

Orienteering (trail) 43:49 [2] 2.26 mi (19:23 / mi)

hanging the controls on the trails All the White controls). I saw three turtles on the trails. Everything all set for Jug Bay Event. With this time I would have one the white course.
Event seem to go ok. It was very hot and humid out which sapped peoples strength and will. Despite zillions of signs and talking before the event, it looks like some people still did the loops in wrong order or did the wrong loops. I know several people opted to just stop after one loop which given the heat was understandable.
We actually ran out of beer which I didn't think we have done for several years but maybe we did.
3 PM

Orienteering (control pickup) 47:12 [3] 2.27 mi (20:48 / mi)
shoes: O icebugs 2015

I picked up the far controls. I could have picked up 4 other as I ran by them on the way back in. I spent too much time in the sun standing. I was dehydrated and tired. My back pack was rubbing my neck which was sunburned.
