Felt better than Friday but still not motivated to run. After 2 miles I had to slow down as my hamstrings start tightening up and I don't want them to be tired before orienteering tomorrow.

My Wife's Women group was coming over for a meetng tonight. I spent more time trying to shovel the court so there were places to park. I usually had to chip the ice then scoop it up and carry it off.

My team continues to fall apart at critical times. We were leading the last game by 5 points until the very end where we just fell apart and ended up losing 25-23. the other two were ok but not as close.

We played one of the better/faster teams. severals of our players didn't show so we picked up some new people. Skill wise we were equal to the other team, conditioning and working as a team the other team out performed up greatly. After being 1-1, we proceeded to give up goal after goal after goal. Once you are down by more than 5 points, you can play with an extra player. Even with an extra player my team would leave 3 open men on the other team. I couldn't get them to mark up. No one wanted to help out the defense either. We lost 9-1. It would have been more but the other team stopped trying to score after a while.

It snowed again last night. About 2.5 inches. First I snow blowed. Then I spent several hours chipping ice from the court so there would be places to park cars Thursday. It made my arms really tired using a shovel like a jack hammer to break the ice up.

I installed new smoke detectors and one of them the battery was already low. So I took the opportunity to run up to CVS, buy some new batteries and run home. It was very cold on the run up. It was windier than expected. Unfortunately I had to wait in line to buy the batteries instead of a quick in/out.
I was expecting to run through the snow but lots of people had already been on the sidewalk which made it worse. It was frozen foot prints which made it very slow going.

Came back from Richmond. Only took just over 2 hours to get back compared tot he over 4 to get there. what a day makes on the road conditions.
We got about 6.5 inches of snow with rain on top. It was largely slushy at this point.

With all my shoveling, my back was very sore. I didn't fell like running but figured I needed to if for now reason other than to loosen up my back.
