It was cold out but not windy. My overall plan was to run a steady race. Small park with lots of fields so it is just a matter of not losing time.
Started off ok. Going to #2 I couldn't tell what field I was in and ended up way right at the pond by #3. Doglegged to 2 and right back to #3. Route Gadget shows the rest.
gong to #11, I decided to take the road. I know it was longer and slower. Way to many power line crossings 8-12. Area 11-12 was dubious. Couldn't tell the slash from non slash had to go way left to get around it. Control 14 was a pure dogleg.
gong to control 21, I took the road around, cross the first stream and cut into the woods. Then I hit a 2nd stream area so go confused. I though I must have overshot the control but it turns out I was on an unmapped stream. I was finally just heading north east to either the trail or field. I finally hit the trail, figured out where I was and went to the control.

Was supposed to snow some so I didn't go mapping. Instead spent severa hours raking up the gumballs. Did most of the yard. Still lots more gumballs on the trees but will be easier come spring.

Took a day off from work to go mapping. It was warmer than I expected and turned into a real nice mapping day.

We played a good team but didn't play well ourselves. I was pretty much out of the play in the front row. I only got one set in three games which was frustrating. I played a good back row.

We played a quick but not very good team. We won but should have one by a lot more.
