Muddy Branch summer Series. Idea is to repeat legs and see which route is fastest. Run a leg, jog back and run a different route.
this worked fine until I got too hot and tired. Once I started to walk you couldn't tell if a route choice was better or if I just walked more. The 2nd time was almost always faster since the most time was spent on the final approach and since I had already been at the control there was no time lost there.
I did make one big mistake. I did the initial leg and messed up trying to return to the start.
