run in the city. I don't know how people run in the city. There are too many stop lights. I had to stop every block and wait for the light (off the clock).
I decided to head north towards the mountains. What I didn't realize is that the mountains started sooner than I thought. The first mile was in traffic, then I left the downtown area and ran 1 mile up a very steep hill. It was slow going up the hill. When the road ended, I had a nice view of the city so I stopped and looked for awhile. Then an easy down hill run where I was worried about icy areas.

In Salt Lake City for conference. I arrived in a snowstorm. It was suppose to be alight snow. They got a foot in the city and 3 feet up in mountains. This was the one day I was going to run outdoors but now it back tot he treadmill.
Previous conferences had nice hotels. This one just average. It is a like an orieneeting hotel. The exercise room has one treadmill, one step machine, and one bike machine. You couldn 't even see the TV from the tread mill. The treadmill wasn't even as good as my own one at home. Nothing like roughing it at a hotel.
I cut the run short as I started feeling bad and figured I didn't want to over do it in a strange hotel by myself.

Other (stairmaster) 6:00 [3] 0.6 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Reeboks

After a two minute warmdwon on the treadmill, I felt better so finished my time on the step master. It was a good thigh workout.
