Practice. I got there late but since I am coach it didn't matter. Unfortunately, I forgot my soccer shoes which did matter. I played in my dress shoes. Practice had a lot of running which was tough. Had a good turn out.

A little trouble on the first control. Still don't like the map but it is much easier to read at 1:10,000. I did confirm that all the rock is mapped with the wrong symbols. Today I adjusted and went feature hopping. Instead of running in the general direction I constantly corrected (I don't think the map is right). The features are there just not in the right spot. By constantly correcting I was ok.
