A little trouble on the first control. Still don't like the map but it is much easier to read at 1:10,000. I did confirm that all the rock is mapped with the wrong symbols. Today I adjusted and went feature hopping. Instead of running in the general direction I constantly corrected (I don't think the map is right). The features are there just not in the right spot. By constantly correcting I was ok.

The start was all screwed up. I should have had a few minutes to warm up but they called me up early. Then they skipped a callup line. I wasn't ready and shouldn't had started but I did. I forgot the map was 1:15,000. Add that to the fact that the map quality was very poor. I screwed up the first control. was very slow to the second. The third should have been a gimme. I was looking for a gully. all I saw was a ditch. It turns out that the definition of a gully on this map was a 0.75 m ditch. Contours didn't match, they were not lined up correctly, and features were also very off. I did ok after the first three by ignoring almost everything on the map.

We were playing a better team but my team didn't step up. I played well but we still lost all three. My right pinkie got hurt the first game. It tried to block a ball and didn't succeed.
