Haven't been running much. Decided to add a mile in. If not now, then I will never get into shape. The good news is my leg didn't bother me.

My team looked good tonight and won big. unfortunately it was abusive me. I was the unfortunate reciepiant of a leg breaking kick to my right shin. I wear monster shin guards and it hit just above them. Fortunately, The other players shin guard is what hit me in the shin which help absorb the blow. I got a small bruise on my left thigh and beauty of a welt on my right shin.
I iced it big time when I got home and the swelling was gone by the next day. Now it is just a big bruise/cut looking thing.

I was practicing with some coed teams. It wasn't very hard play which is good since I am out of practice. Season starts next week.
Several roads were closed due to flooding. I had to turn around at one point and go a different way to reach practice.

running on the treadmill becuase it is too rainy outside. Want to see how the ankle feels. Ankle is good.
