Orienteering (mapping) 4:30:00 [3] 5.0 mi (54:00 / mi)

Finished the North Glen Artney area (except I need to recheck on area.).
I did lots of climb. Up and down the spurs on each side. Beautiful day out but was offset from mapping the green areas. Slogging through thorns was not fun.

Iwas still worried about my hamstring so played goalie the first half. The 2nd half our regular goalie, who was playing on the field got hurt so went back into goal. 2nd half I played on the field. My hamstring did ok.
We played the really weak team and won 10-1.

Hamstring is still tight so I went another easy run. Twice as far as yesterday.

Jogged a mile on the treadmill. My hamstring is still sore but it does loosen up. Just ran a very easy mile to see how it felt. Doesn't feel sore, I just very tight.

Yesterday while mapping my hamstring loosened up so I was hoping it would be ok for soccer. Well, it didn't. I stretched a bunch but it never loosened up. I only played part of the game in order to give people some rest. I just sort of hobbled on the field. I couldn't really run at all. My biggest contribution was kicking some corner kicks.
the team we played wasn't that good. We out played them but still couldn't score any goals. They scored two goals (one a fluke and one earned).

Mapping hunting fields of Glen Artney. I covered the area I wanted to cover but it always takes so long (especially since I was moving slow). 5-6 hours of field checking, 8.2 miles- to only cover 2.5 legs of my proposed course.
