Other (hiking) 1:00:00 [1] 2.0 mi (30:00 / mi) +120m 25:17 / mi

I am in california for the A meet. I don't have a map so didn't know where to go. I was just going to go for a drive but noticed the hills behind the hotel. Instead I just went for a leasurely climb. It was steep getting up the hill but fairly flat on the ridge. Very open and noisy. There are no trees and very little vegetation. The noise from the entire valley just bounces around up there.

Soccer (indoor) 40:00 [4]
shoes: Soccer indoor Nike 2006

We only had one sub so I played most of the game. I played ok. The other team had some quick players but i was able to keep up. The ref wasn't very good and called an inconsistant game. We were down 0-1 at half but came back. The game was tied 3-3 then we gave up two quick goals at the end of the game. Another loss.

Treadmill (2 incline) 31:34 [3] 4.25 mi (7:26 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2009

ran on the treadmill. Finally over my soreness from the 10 run last week. One week to recover, not bad for an old man.

Run (road) 34:17 [3] 4.4 mi (7:48 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2009

Warm out, 60 some degrees. Wasn't sure how I would feel but needed to get out and see.

First 400 meters were good then I started feeling the soreness. The important thing was to get out and run and not worry about pace. I just slowed down.

Rt 715 + 2 park loops.
