Treadmill (2 incline) 23:30 [3] 3.0 mi (7:50 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline 2007

Cold and dark out. Still sore from last night soccer game and didn't get much sleep. Back to the treadmill. I was going to do only 2 miles but darcy was exercising on the bike so I went another mile to keep her company.

Volleyball (Indoor) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: VB: Newbalance 620

Last regular season match. We needed to win one game in order to make it into the playoffs. Unfortunately we only had 5 people and were playing a really good team.
Our initial line up was screwed up. We were set up like this.

--------------------net
ted setter

Take a quick look you can see the problem right away. The setter pushes up o the front row leaving me the whole back row. Not a good situation. It was equally difficult when I was the only front row person. Front row wasn't as bad as I am a good hitter and it easier to cover the
entire front row than back row. We lost badly the first game. The other team felt bad and started playing easy.
The second game we change the line up so there was alwasy two people front and back besides the setter and gave the other team a run for the money. We lost the last two 25-18, 25-23. No playoffs for us.

Soccer (Indoor) 30:00 [5]
shoes: Soccer indoor Nike 2006

Played a hard game. I played well defensivley but so-so offensively. Played a lot of mid field which gave me more running time. No goals or assists.
We lost 6-3. Most of the goals were scored when I wasn't on the field although one was indirectly caused be me. i misjudged a head ball and since I missed it entirely, that allowed them a fast break 2 against one. Our one lost.

Treadmill warm up/down (2 incline) 14:15 [3] 0.5 mi (28:29 / mi)
shoes: Soccer indoor Nike 2006

Game started at 11:00 pm. So after midnight by the time I got home. Since I didn't run after the game I did an 1/2 mile on the tread mill to help loosen up and warm down. Felt good but I am not sure how well it worked. Still woke up with a foot cramp several times during the night.
One time I noticed the Carbon Detector was beeping intermittently. The battery needed changing. I got up to change the battery only to find out one of the cats had also gotten sick and I had to clean that up also. More sleep lost.

Run (road) 30:40 [3] 4.4 mi (6:58 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline 2007

Run outside. It was warm so ran in shorts and t-shirt eventhough it was after dark. Rt 175 + Severn Road. Started off comfortably then decided to pick up the pace a little. Last mile I pushed it. Need to get some speed training in for the Thanksgiving day race. (actually Saturday in Iowa).

Orienteering (mapping) 4:00:00 [1]
shoes: O shoes: Falcons 06

Had planned to map the whole day but it was raining hard that night and still drizzly that morning. I let things dry out before going out. Checked out what I thought would be an easy walk along a trail only to discover the trail doesn't exist and the steep hillside goes right down to the river. Lots of rock pockets. Mapping was very slow. finally cut up hill and had a tought time find a feature to start mapping around. Finished most of the trails in this area so now have a good idea of what to use for the courses.

Run (trail) 5:30 [3] 0.65 mi (8:30 / mi)

Jog back to the car from mapping.

Run (trail) 6:41 [3] 0.84 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 5

Jog to/from mapping. It was 3 minutes out on part of a very steep trai down to the river. Coming back was to be longer but due to bathroomitis I had to walk on the uphill part.

Orienteering (mapping) 4:00:00 [1]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 5

Finished up the northern chunk of the map. It was nice out. Sunny and in the low 50's. Didn't start getting cool until about 3:00 then I started getting cold. Gets dark sooner so I had to cut short my mapping.
